5^th Grade Homework Policy

·         Read 20 minutes every night.  The students will fill out a read and respond nightly as they read. 

·         Assignments not completed in class will be taken home for homework and will be returned, complete, to class the following day.

·         Late assignments will be deducted 10% for each day it is not returned.

·         Students will know to check their homework folders for completed assignments, returned work from the teacher, homework for the evening, and notes home from the teacher.

·         Agendas need to be checked daily for communication.

·         When students are absent they will be given one day for each day missed to complete assignments and return them to the teacher.
