Dodge Panthers
DOLLARS FOR DESTINY IS A SUCCESS!
Destiny Gibson is a former student at Dodge and her brother, sister and cousin
still attend here. She is now in the Children's Hospital in Colorado in need of a
heart transplant and the family needed our help. A flyer went home with every Dodge
student outlining details of the activities we were doing for the Gibson family.
A Papa John's Night was held on May 14th and we are still waiting to hear from
them to know how much they helped us raise. We've sold bracelets and foam
fingers AND the students were able to buy admission to a movie after Super Kids'
Day. Our pie throwing contest was the biggest success so far. Last Friday, we
had 20 brave staff members volunteer to get hit with pies! We raised $770.00!
We hope to have a grand total from all these events soon!
