Technology integrated with literacy plays a strong role at Dodge!

As a Literacy Magnet, technology and literacy go hand and hand. Students and teachers will write and create webpages wikis, blogs, voice threads, videos, photo stories, publisher and power point documents. They will use the internet to Skype with authors and other classrooms across the country and in other countries.

In 2008 Dodge Literacy Magnet began a book publishing project. Students publish books through the use of computers and the internet. Each class or grade level team publishes a fiction or non-fiction book each school year.  Parents have the opportunity to purchase these books as they are published on an internet site.
