Nearly 300 Dodge Literary Magnet students and parents came together to celebrate Kansas’ birthday with a “There’s No Place Like Dodge” party theme.  To learn about upcoming assessments, students and parents started in the gym and followed a Yellow Brick Road through the school. The families went to different classrooms representing Munchkin Land, Toto’s Clock Walk, the Castle of Flying Monkeys, the Enchanted Forest, Over the Rainbow, and into Emerald City.

Students played reading and math games to reinforce basic skills to show students that they are ready for the Kansas State Assessments.
